In case you missed the feel good story of the season so far...Clay Buchholz pitched a no-hitter at Fenway in his second career start. That's crazy good.

From time to time the Red Sox get in touch with us about a project. Maybe they think no one else is interested but getting a call from the Sox about anything is so darn cool that we're on it no matter what. This time it was buttons for candidates vying for Red Sox Nation President. Pictured below are the three they selected, and a photo of Sam Horn sporting his on the campaign trail.

Music from the Mound is shipping! The CD cover also made an appearance in Times Square on a big honking screen!

The Police! Caught both great shows and so far away from the stage each time - who cares, it's the dang Police! Favorite moment: "Inivisible Sun" with 7 Stings on all the video screens. After you add the actual Sting on stage - that's a sum total of 8 amazing Stings! Sting Junior opened, whatever you're thinking is probably right.

The Red Seat was invited to join the Red Sox Foundation to take in a game from the bleachers. Not sure who we played that day but a great time was had by all. Sox lost, we think.

Picnic in the Park and The Red Seat represented. Fun day with lots of gawking...favorite sighting was seeing John Henry in left field playing with an iPhone for a really long time. Highlight of the day, our 5 year old "H-Man" not wanting to meet big, mean Doug Mirabelli. Here's a post on our blog with pics from the day.

The press release for "Music from the Mound" has been released so now we can talk about it. The CD features an original Red Seat cover illustration and a new track called "Gyro Ball" with musical contributions from Magic Dick (formerly of the J. Geils Band), Nuno Bettencourt (formerly of Extreme) and current Sox broadcasters Remdawg and Orsizzle!

We were able to score some seats in the brand spankin' new, but temporary, "Conigliaro's Corner". This is essentially a big, metal high school bleacher section WAY up high. Like, really high up. The view, company and beer were all amazing! (Kelly got a chicken!) We were also lucky enough to be witness to the filming of an installment of "Sox Appeal" which, from our vantage point looks to be SOOOOOOO AWWWWWEEEESSSSSOOOMMMMEEEE! And so very Soxy!!! YEAH!!!!

To our anonymous customer who wore Sweet Caroline in her amazing seats at Fenway to watch the Red Sox bust up the Yankees and who subsequently was spotted on the FOX broadcast - Thanks!

Spring Training has come and gone and now the games that actually mean something are here. Finally. We've got some meaningful stuff going on, too (did you like that segue? Smoooooth.)
First up, The Faithful. Maybe prayer IS the answer? For those of you who like a more roomy cut to your tees, we've opended up the Bleachers. We'll add our most popular designs in the weeks and months to come. Let's see, what else - Big in Japan for kids! Big in Japan for women! Our first ever baseball cap! And don't forget to pick up a great book on the Impossible Dream season. Good stuff.
